We’re back from a five-day trip to Washington, DC to celebrate our daugter’s birthday. I hoped for good weather, which for me would be any day without rain. Alas, I was disappointed, as the weather turned mostly cool, cloudy, and rainy with the sun making only infrequent appearances.
We decided to take a chance last Friday and visit Breaux Vineyards in Purcellville, VA. As you can see from the photos, the weather was as described above. On the positive side, Breaux is a fabulous vineyard to sample a variety of award-winning reds and whites. I would recommend the vineyard to anyone living or visiting the area.
