Last night, I had the pleasure of hearing David Dow speak about his debut thriller, Confessions of an Innocent Man, at The Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale, AZ. David, an attorney, lives in Houston and is an expert in death penalty law. He has represented more than 100 death-row inmates during their state and federal appeals. He founded and is the director of the Texas Innocence Network.
The book jacket reads, “He delivers the perfect modern parable for exploring our complex, uneasy relationships with punishment and reparation in a terribly unjust world.”
I am very much looking forward to reading the book!
