Karen Odden (left) and Tasha Alexander entertained a full house this afternoon at The Poisoned Pen Bookstore in Scottsdale. Karen signed her third book, A Trace of Deceit, while Tasha signed In the Shadow of Vesuvius, the 14th book in her Lady Emily Ashton series.
Karen tells the story of a young female painter and a Scotland Yard detective in Victorian London as they investigate her brother’s suspicious death. Tasha also tells a Victorian tale, as she takes Lady Emily and her husband to Pompeii, where they discover a body hidden in plain sight among the ruins.
(As a bonus, Karen provided delicious homemade scones for the audience.)
