Karin Slaughter appeared at The Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale on August 30 to discuss her most recent book in the Will Trent series, The Last Widow. The book pairs investigator Will Trent from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and medical examiner Sara Linton as they attempt to solve a deadly conspiracy triggered by the kidnapping of a scientist from the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta and the bombing of one of the city’s most important neighborhoods.
