Bestselling thriller writer Mark Greaney (right, below) and Rip Rawlings (soon to be retired from the USMC) signed their new book, Red Metal, at The Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale on Tuesday, July 16.
The novel depicts a “startlingly realistic” version of World War III, as Russia invades Europe and Africa to take advantage of a military crisis in Asia. The book focuses on the stories of an assortment of characters, including a Marine lieutenant colonel in Africa, a French Special Forces captain, a young Polish female freedom fighter, an A-10 Warthog pilot, and an American tank commander and his German counterpart.
If you enjoy reading Tom Clancy’s books, I imagine you will also enjoy this one.
