I believe it is fair to say that author Martin Walker is a serious history buff. The creator of the Bruno, Chief of Police, series signed his most recent book, The Body in the Castle Well, at The Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale last night. The book is the twelfth in the Bruno series and tells the story of a murdered rich American art student and a French Resistance war hero turned art historian, wound through the history of 1945 Berlin and France’s colonial war in Algeria. Martin’s book will certainly go into my “to be read” pile.
