The Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale hosted an Authors’ Tea Saturday afternoon, with Meg Tilly, Jayne Ann Krentz (writing as Amanda Quick), and Sujata Massey signing new books for a large and enthusiastic audience.
Cliff’s Edge, written by Meg Tilly, is her second romantic suspense story set on Solace Island in British Columbia. The setting is based loosely on the real Salt Spring Island in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to talking about the new book, Meg shared several stories about her acting career in Hollywood, and most of those stories were hilarious. The first book in the series is titled Solace Island.
Tightrope, the new book by Jayne Ann Krentz, writing as Amanda Quick, tells the story of a former trapeze artist seeking to reinvent herself as the owner of a bed-and-breakfast, only to find that the villa she purchased may be cursed.
Sujata Massey’s book, The Satapur Moonstone, looks at India in 1922 and focuses on Bombay’s only female lawyer and her attempt to bring peace to the royal family of Satapur. This book is the follow-up to The Widows of Malabar Hill.
