Michael Koryta signed copies of his new book, If She Wakes, at The Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale last night. The thriller tells the story of a woman with locked-in syndrome, the result of a car accident that leaves her unable to move any part of her body except her eyes. Worse, someone wants to kill her. This will be my first read for Michael, and I am looking forward to it.
Nick Petrie served as emcee for the evening and did an excellent job. Nick’s upcoming book, The Wild One, scheduled for release in January 2020, is the fourth in his Peter Ash series.
