The Poisoned Pen and owner Barbara Peters welcomed thriller writers Stephen Hunter and Jack Carr on July 29 to sign copies of their new books. Hunter’s book, Game of Snipers, is the latest in a long line of novels featuring sniper Bob Lee Swagger. True Believer is Carr’s second book in the ex-Navy SEAL James Reece series. His first book, Terminal List, was nominated for Best First Novel at this year’s International Thriller Writer convention.

Mark Greaney, author of several Tom Clancy books and the Gray Man Series, and the co-author of the recently released thriller, Red Metal, made his second appearance in two weeks at the Pen to host the evening.
